Answer The Call launches a powerful youth portal. Through our Portal, Youth can access Learnership and Internship opportunities available in government and the private sector. Contracting and permanent job opportunities can also be accessed by the Youth.

Youth unemployment in South Africa as a whole and Gauteng in particular is widely acknowledged, and well researched. The Gauteng City Region is implementing various measures to address this scourge.

Access to opportunities by Youth and SMMEs remain one of the key barriers to success. Our Portal Suitable sources of working capital and other funding will be identified, and assistance will be provided on developing and submitting bankable business plans. Answer The Call has also initiated discussions with the Banking Association of South Africa with regard to financial assistance to Youth and SMMEs.

Our Portal also enables business support and funding agencies to monitor the performance of their customers, and evaluate the impact of their programs on SMME development.

Answer The Call Youth Portal is much more than a database of Youth and Entrepreneurs. It provides a range of user friendly tools and technologies to assist Youth and Entrepreneurs to access skills, services and resources. The Portal is particularly suited to support the existing and new economic development initiatives of the Gauteng Provincial Government. It can be accessed via laptop, tablet and smartphone. Youth and Entrepreneurs will also interact on the Facebook and Twitter Pages of the Portal.
